Lawrence finally began to comprehend the critical nature of DWI arrests and, as a consequence, he made up his mind that from this point forward, he would always drink in moderation so that he would never again have to go through another DWI arrest.
His dad smiled at Lawrence and mentioned the following: "son, it took me until I was thirty-five years old to realize what you just told me. I am really proud of you." This did wonders for his self worth and so Lawrence thanked his dad and then said, "if I can always drink in moderation, I will never need to hire a DUI lawyer again!"
There was, however, one thing that neither Lawrence nor his dad thought about, namely, if Lawrence is manifesting any alcohol abuse signs or perhaps if he is exhibiting any of the usual signs of alcoholism. In all honesty, if Lawrence is exhibiting any alcohol signs that point to alcohol abuse or alcohol dependency, he may need alcohol rehab.
In truth, Lawrence may be required by the court to get rehab for his excessive and abusive drinking. The good news, conversely, is that whatever it takes to address his abusive drinking, it appears that Lawrence will be motivated to do the "correct" thing.
